Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-native applications. This role involves working in a high-performance environment supporting platforms within capital markets, trading, or crypto domains.

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 2 weeks onsite/month)

Duration: Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS
• Deploy and maintain applications using Helm charts, YAML configurations, and Go templates
• Utilize kubectl for cluster management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Implement observability solutions including logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security best practices
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, especially EKS
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and ecosystem
• Proficiency in Helm, YAML, and Go templating
• Experience with kubectl for deployment and debugging
• Solid programming experience in Core Java
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in capital markets, trading systems, or crypto platforms
• Familiarity with cloud security and infrastructure best practices
• Experience working in hybrid/on-site delivery models
