Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-native applications. This role involves working in a high-performance environment supporting platforms within capital markets, trading, or crypto domains.
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 2 weeks onsite/month)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS
- Deploy and maintain applications using Helm charts, YAML configurations, and Go templates
- Utilize kubectl for cluster management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Implement observability solutions including logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, especially EKS
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and ecosystem
- Proficiency in Helm, YAML, and Go templating
- Experience with kubectl for deployment and debugging
- Solid programming experience in Core Java
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in capital markets, trading systems, or crypto platforms
- Familiarity with cloud security and infrastructure best practices
- Experience working in hybrid/on-site delivery models
