Job Description:
We are seeking an Audio Video (AV) Technician to support and maintain conference room AV systems, ensure smooth functionality, and provide end-user support. The role involves troubleshooting, monitoring, training users, and coordinating with vendors to maintain a seamless AV experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conference Room Maintenance:
Perform regular checks of all conference rooms
Test all AV equipment including:
Hardware power status
Remote controls (battery levels)
Audio and video functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution
Ensure rooms are well-maintained and presentable
Work with facilities team for any physical space issues
Monitoring & Issue Resolution:
Use monitoring tools to identify and respond to AV issues quickly
Provide on-site support for users facing AV problems
Troubleshoot live meeting/conference issues
User Support & Training:
Assist users with AV setup and troubleshooting
Conduct training sessions covering:
Equipment usage
Best practices
General AV support
Collaborate with the global AV team for system improvements
Act as the primary point of contact for all AV-related needs at the site
Assist in implementing changes to the AV environment
Required Skills:
Experience as an AV Technician / Audio Video Support
Strong troubleshooting skills for:
Audio systems
Video conferencing tools
AV hardware
Experience with:
Conference room technologies
ServiceNow (ticketing tool)
Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
