Key Responsibilities:
- Process and apply customer payments within internal systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Review and validate system-generated refunds to ensure correctness prior to release
- Manage financial correspondence and support reconciliation activities
- Analyze aged accounts receivable balances and assist with resolution or write-off recommendations
- Respond to internal inquiries related to payment posting, adjustments, refunds, and account discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve cash application issues, including voids, reapplications, chargebacks, and credit card transactions
- Partner with offshore support teams to address escalated items and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audit and compliance requirements
- High School diploma/GED required; Some college coursework preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting
- Experience supporting financial operations in a regulated or high-volume environment
- Familiarity with premium receivables or similar billing structures
