Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a HL7/FHIR Technical Lead for their project based in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: HL7/FHIR Technical Lead

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: Longterm

Job Description:

• The proposed candidate must have at least seven (7) years of IT and business/industry work experience. This includes:
• 2 years of practical application of FHIR standards, including resources, profiles, and implementation guides.
• 2 years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and CCDA.
• Experience with Object-Oriented programming, CI/CD principles, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience with cloud-based application integration options, including AWS and enterprise service bus (e.g., Mulesoft).
• Experience with SOAP/RESTful web services, JMS/EMS, and related integration technologies.
• Familiarity with networking, API security best practices, and automation tools such as Jenkins.
  
  

Specialized Experience:

• The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years as a technical expert in an IT organization. This individual:
• Coaches and mentors junior technical staff and contributes technical input to high-impact IT decisions.
• Is accountable for the most complex enterprise-wide applications and integration efforts.
• Translates highly complex integration concepts for peers and customers, including HL7/FHIR healthcare data exchanges.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of modern programming languages and object-oriented design, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Has domain experience in healthcare systems and interoperability.
• Demonstrates outstanding problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Has experience working in Agile and SDLC-based environments
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience. (A Master’s degree is preferred.)
