Genesis10 is currently seeking a SWIFT Technologist for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

The selected individual will be part of a Swift Development Team, working with production support and project partners. This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals, ensuring that SWIFT-provided software is installed, configured, and supported to meet all functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements
• Participate and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Perform proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Implement solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
  
  

Requirements:

• 5-10 years in the technology industry
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience installing, patching, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing SWIFT products: SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Platform, SWIFT Net Link
• Knowledge of all SWIFT messaging formats and demonstrated experience in SWIFT protocols
• 3 years of experience with applications running on AiX or Linux operating systems
• 1 years of experience with Agile project delivery
• 3 years of experience managing the completion of application-related documentation to meet risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements
• Experience with Swift, Python, and Core Java
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, visual presentations) and effective listening skills
• Ability and desire to think creatively to deliver business results both independently and as part of a team
  
  

Desired skills:

• Experience in Alliance Messaging Hub
• Good understanding of the SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with SWIFT Hardware Security Modules
• Experience with infrastructure upgrade/replacement projects
• Knowledge of ISO20022 Payment Format
• Knowledge of emerging payments such as US RTP, SEPA Instant, Fed Now, or relevant real-time payment processing formats
  
  

Pay range: $55.07 - $63.07 per hour
