Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Python Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role will focus on the design, development, and end-to-end implementation of a new GenAI platform. The ideal candidate will have expert Python development skills and experience with architectural approaches for AI software, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that align with business priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and oversee end-to-end implementation of the new GenAI platform and its related business use cases
• Develop architectural approaches for AI software and hardware integration with emphasis on quality, performance, resiliency, and reusability
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and fulfill business needs and objectives
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions that align with business priorities and expectations
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Establish standards and lead the charge on automation for end-to-end SDLC efficiency
• Mentor team members in technical design and development best practices
• Drive platform performance, scalability, and resiliency testing
• Implement hardware upgrades and software enhancements to meet global performance expectations
• Address regulatory and performance-driven requirements for regional/localization of the infrastructure platform
• Conduct research and prototyping to evaluate and identify new solutions to enhance platform and team capabilities
• Monitor AI industry trends and stay abreast of advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science
  
  

Requirements:

• 7 years of professional experience
• Expert Python development skills with strong knowledge of Threading, Async Programming, Fast API, and OO Design
• Experience with ETL with large data and optimizations for performance
• Experience with Pub/Sub, Message Bus design and implementations
• Experience working in large-sized teams that collaboratively develop on a shared multi-repo codebase (VsCode)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter, able to break down complex problems, manage dependencies, and drive through to a solution
• Adaptable to shifting & competing priorities
• Committed and pro-active in ensuring high quality of service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26
