This position is for an Application Programmer with a focus on high-performance systems in a hybrid work setting.
The role is contract-based and requires expertise in modernizing legacy applications and supporting distributed systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team to define architecture and ensure system performance and resiliency.
Key Responsibilities
Define target state architecture and implementation plans.
Support application performance and resiliency requirements.
Collaborate on modernizing legacy systems.
Ensure compliance with real-time system standards.
Work with messaging applications to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
Expert-level experience in Java development with real-time systems.
Hands-on experience with distributed applications, preferably in trading systems.
Experience with cloud computing and application containerization.
Understanding of derivatives and traded products is beneficial.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
