Responsibilities:
- Tune and optimize database connection configurations to improve application performance
- Analyze and improve .NET application-level database connection behavior and pooling efficiency
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to ODBC and DB2 Connect usage
- Ensure efficient, stable, and scalable database connection usage within a targeted engagement
- Provide recommendations or quick fixes based on findings during the short-term performance effort
- Hands-on experience improving database connection performance in .NET applications
- Strong understanding of .NET database connection management and pooling behavior
- Experience working with ODBC for database connectivity
- Experience with DB2 Connect, including migrations or dual-connection environments
- Familiarity with IBM i/DB2 environments
