Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Python Developer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) located in Pennington, NJ and Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity for our client, a Global Financial Institution.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on programming in Python as a senior developer on a Global Supervisory and Surveillance application
• Manage assigned tickets to complete technical tasks for the monthly release cycle
• Develop on an internal platform to resolve audit-related items
  
  

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on programming experience in any object-oriented language
• Python experience is necessary
• 3 years of experience as a senior developer on Front Office applications in banking services
• 3 years of experience in quantitative research and development, with the ability to deal with domain-specific data analysis
• 3 years of experience in REST, ReactJS, or Full Stack development
• Experience and exposure to Object Databases and Relational Databases
• Strong communication, self-starting, and analytical skills
  
  

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of Fixed Income products
• 2 years of experience in risk and pricing application development
• Experience or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets
  
  

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 per hour
