We have partnered with our client in their search for a API Developer in Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
• Set up a monitoring stack.
• Define service capacity planning strategies.
• Implement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
  
  

Skills Required:

• Java, Spring Boot,
• Experience with API development
• Strong experience of cloud native application development (e.g., AWS)
• Experience in API Gateways, Apache Kafka, Cassandra or other NoSQL DB
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Awareness about CI/CD, test automation methodologies
• Awareness on python, spark as programming languages
• Knowledge on Kubernetes platform
  
  

Observability platform Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics or Dynatrace

Education & Work Experience:

• 6 - 12 years of related work experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
