Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Solr architecture
- Work on SolrCloud and distributed search platforms
- Optimize queries and performance tuning
- Plan and manage capacity and scalability
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK
- Implement CI/CD and deployment automation
- Conduct platform assessments and architecture reviews
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Skills:
- 10 years in Search/Data Platforms
- 5 years hands-on Apache Solr experience
- Experience with SolrCloud, Lucene, Schema Design, and Indexing
- Expertise in Query & Performance Optimization
- Knowledge of JVM Tuning, Capacity Planning, and Scalability
- Experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK
- Experience with CI/CD & Deployment Automation
- Experience in Platform Assessment and Architecture Review
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience with AWS / Azure Solr deployments
- Experience in Healthcare or Large-scale catalog search
