Job Description:
The Specialist position is rarely selected and should only be considered after all other levels have been exhausted. The Specialist position is considered an expert position that has a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of or unique skillset in a particular area. The Agile Coach will help train corporate teams on the agile methodology and oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective outcomes for the organization. They are responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process and are tasked with encouraging workers and leadership to embrace the agile method.

The Worker will be a part of the team and responsible for creating and implementing an agile development program to train, educate, and support the Medicaid CHIP IT Contracts Oversight team on agile principles, methodologies, and specifically the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Worker will also assist with the efforts to transform other application teams to a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) approach that fall under the Medicaid CHIP Systems portfolio. The Worker will assist in creating a consistent understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies that the HHS Organization represents. The Worker will oversee the development and delivery of the training curriculum and ensure effective outcomes for the team are achieved and documented. The Worker will be responsible to create the implementation processes to continue to support the Agile transformation of the team to support the Modernization requirements associated with Application, Maintenance and Development contract.
Certifications should include the following: SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) or equivalent
Minimum Requirements:
Have excellent time management skills
Capable of making quick and effective decisions.
Strong Leader Who Is Capable Of Training Others
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Experience as an Agile Coach for a large enterprise organization
Experience with Scrum
Experience with Kanban
Knowledge of software development
Experience in the role of a Scrum Master
Certifications should include the following: SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) or equivalent
Agile Certification: Agile Certified practitioner (ACP), Leading SAFe, SAFe Agilist Certification, SAFe Program Consultant, SAFe Practitioner Certification, SAFe Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, DevOps Practitioner, Product Management or Ownership
