About the Role
Work in shipping operations handling material loading, equipment operation, inventory control, and customer coordination to ensure smooth and safe facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, manlifts, and other mobile equipment
• Load/unload bulk trucks, rail cars, bags, and containers
• Handle and store cement and raw materials safely
• Coordinate with customers, truckers, and internal teams
• Maintain inventory records and shipping documentation
• Perform basic maintenance and support equipment reliability
• Conduct inspections and safety checks
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse/yard conditions
• Use computer systems for orders, billing, and inventory updates
• Follow safety, environmental, and ISO procedures
Candidate Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years experience in industrial or shipping operations
• Experience with mobile equipment operation preferred
• Basic mechanical/electrical understanding
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting, climbing, bending)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
