About the Role:
We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead multi-shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing production performance, driving operational efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations across multiple shifts, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and production targets
- Oversee production activities across multiple work centers to ensure timely and cost-effective output
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and production flow
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and quality improvement methodologies
- Partner with quality teams to maintain high product standards and reduce defects
- Monitor and optimize production processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards across all operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop Operations Managers, Supervisors, and production teams
- Manage workforce planning, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HR, planning, and procurement to meet operational goals
- Oversee budget management and ensure cost-effective operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Experience in capacity planning and production flow management
- Ability to manage multi-shift operations in a fast-paced environment
