Job Summary:
Epcon is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead a large-scale natural gas power generation project. The role involves overseeing contractor performance, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring the project meets safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary on-site representative for construction oversight.
• Manage multiple contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Develop bid packages, review proposals, and participate in contractor selection.
• Oversee project schedules and coordinate with the scheduler for updates and reporting.
• Review and approve change orders, invoices, and progress payments.
• Support the resolution of field issues and coordinate with engineering teams as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10 years of construction project management experience, preferably in large industrial or power generation projects.
• Prior experience in natural gas power generation highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, schedules, and budgets effectively.
• Proficiency with project management tools and reporting.
Preferred:
