Job Summary:
CX2 is a next-generation defense technology company focused on delivering spectrum dominance for the United States and its allies. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop, support, and maintain core system capabilities for electronic warfare products, working across the entire technology stack.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain customer-facing applications
• Work with team members to define requirements and design appropriate technical architectures
• Select appropriate languages or enabling technologies for the task
• Implement back-end services, system logic
• Build and integrate front-end components (primarily using React.js)
• Optimize to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Work with designers, product managers, and other team members to translate concepts into functional applications
• Collaborate with infrastructure, hardware, RF, and other engineers to establish feature architectures that support requirements effectively and in a resource-efficient manner
• Participate in code reviews and QA
• Implement best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3-5 years experience in full-stack software engineering
• Strong background in front-end and back-end development for complex web applications
• Ability to own large, complex product features from inception to deployment
• Experience developing and maintaining customer-facing applications
• Ability to define requirements and design appropriate technical architectures
• Select appropriate languages or enabling technologies for the task
• Implement back-end services and system logic
• Build and integrate front-end components (primarily using React.js)
• Optimize to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability

• Work with designers, product managers, and other team members to translate concepts into functional applications

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 ), React.js, npm/yarn, responsive design

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Compliance with ITAR Regulations
Preferred:
• Experience with TypeScript and/or Python Typing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience in 'hard tech' domains: AI/ML, robotics, hardware, or defense
