Job Summary:
BetterHelp is an online counseling platform that connects its members to licensed therapists. As a Manager, Business Analysis and Insights, you will support data-driven decision-making and deliver strategic insights across the organization, partnering with the CFO and business decision-makers to enhance growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth analytical deep-dives to uncover actionable insights on marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and conversion levers, enabling smarter and more informed decision-making.
• Partner with the CFO and business decision makers to shape and operationalize the company’s strategic roadmap, quantifying and accelerating impact on growth, efficiency, and profitability.
• Work closely with Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to design KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and implement our business intelligence roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders by transforming complex data into clear, compelling recommendations that drive high-impact decisions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5–8 years in strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles, preferably within D2C or fast-paced, high-growth tech environments or in consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expert SQL skills, preferably proficient in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, R) and with one or more BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau); advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities; strong presentation skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
• Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and leveraging big data technologies or platforms to derive insights at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to link analytics to business outcomes, influence company performance, and support strategic decisions with data.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior and cross-functional audiences.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong prioritization skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and execution.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree a plus.
