Job Summary:
ENTRUST Solutions Group is a fast-growing engineering company that values innovation and teamwork. They are seeking a Design Specialist to contribute to electric distribution system design projects, focusing on collaboration, hands-on experience, and professional development.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize design software to perform basic design engineering tasks, supporting both underground and overhead electrical distribution projects.
• Submit, manage, and maintain permits as required by project needs.
• Manage workload and projects.
• Assist in the production of plans, specifications, reports, diagrams, and engineering documents from the preliminary scope to construction status.
• Travel up to 20% of the time for field visits, project data collection, and construction coordination and verification.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with electric distribution design performing drafting and/or CAD design tasks
• Advanced experience with AutoCAD, O-Cal and SpidaCalc
• Experience utilizing GIS mapping software
• Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred:
• Technical degree or other advanced education, training or certifications related to engineering design projects
