Job Summary:

As an Ad Policy Manager, you will develop and manage advertising policies, collaborate with various teams, and ensure compliance with policy standards across Amazon's advertising products.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage policies, including risk rationale, policy text, and data monitoring
• Present policy risks to internal stakeholders through high-quality written communications to build understanding and consensus
• Create business requirement documents to product teams to solve for policy risks
• Foster collaborative relationships across Ad Trust Policy teams, Sales, Legal, PR, Public Policy, and other business units
• Support high-risk and high-impact escalations with moderation and tiered support teams
• Develop comprehensive understanding of ad tech systems, particularly Amazon's infrastructure, to inform policy work
• Monitor policy effectiveness using various signals and handle escalated policy compliance questions
• Develop expertise in locale-specific requirements and consider cultural norms in decision-making
• Build policy recommendations based on multi-vector risk assessment, collaborating with product teams on risk solutions, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate between Amazon teams to ensure consistency for advertisers and shoppers.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4 years' experience in ad tech, product policy, advertising policy, content policy, or related policy-focused roles
• Experience collaborating with PR, Legal, and Public Policy teams
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed organizations
• Experience in analyzing and presenting results to senior management
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with ability to build trust at all levels
• Demonstrated data-driven decision-making capability
• General knowledge of current events impacting policy positions
Preferred:
• Master's degree, law degree, or MBA
• Experience managing large-scale policy changes
• Strong background in metrics and data analysis
• Experience in digital advertising policy, compliance, or legal work
