We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in all stages of workers' compensation claims. This includes conducting legal research, preparing and presenting cases, negotiating settlements, and advocating for clients in court. The successful candidate will have a passion for justice, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in workers' compensation law.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation for clients with workers' compensation claims.
- Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the validity and value of clients' claims.
- Prepare and present strong, fact-based arguments to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Attend and represent clients in administrative hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Draft, review, and interpret legal documents and reports.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation law and relevant legal precedents.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client representation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney.
- Proven experience in insurance, civil litigation, depositions, mediation, and hearings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and depositions.
