Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and oversee inventory control to support manufacturing operations.
- Ensure accurate management of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory.
- Perform and reconcile cycle counts, physical counts, and inventory audits.
- Monitor and adjust MRP to align raw material availability with production schedules.
- Review and optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points.
- Oversee railcar scheduling, delivery coordination, and silo inventory management.
- Support cross-functional departments (Accounting, FSQ, Distribution) in inventory-related matters.
- Develop, train, and manage Inventory Coordinators to achieve department goals.
- Review and maintain item set-ups and data integrity within ERP systems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Education High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Experience Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management within manufacturing.
- Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems (preferably JDE, Vicinity), and MRP.
- Abilities Detail-oriented, strong mathematical aptitude, proven supervisory experience, effective written and verbal communication, and ability to maintain high accuracy and compliance with SOPs.
