Family owned, with more than six decades in the industry and multiple manufacturing facilities across the Midwest, including a newer, growing facility built for large tonnage die casting work.

Job Details
Diagnose, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures supporting die cast operations, with a strong emphasis on manual machining and TIG welding at a facility that's still being built out.
What you'll do
Diagnose and repair dies, tooling and fixtures used in die cast production
Perform manual machining operations, lathes, mills and grinders, to produce or repair tooling components
TIG weld to repair and build up dies and tooling components
Read blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate or repair tooling to spec
Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor and perform preventive maintenance on dies
Work adaptably in a facility still being built out, this role will see things evolve as the plant grows
What we're looking for
Experience in tool and die repair, manual machining or a related skilled trade
TIG welding experience required
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Comfortable in a newer, still developing facility, flexibility matters here
High school diploma or GED, trade school training a plus
