As a Super, your supervisory responsibility includes Hiring, Training & Mentoring employees, who you will then plan, assign and delegate work to. Projects will be focused on Big-Box, Ground Up construction of Warehouses and Distribution Centers for many different confidential clients.

Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team. This role is instrumental in overseeing the daily operations of our construction projects, ensuring we deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of construction processes, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for
- Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.
- Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Reviewing the work progress daily and providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Implementing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members.
- Ensuring adherence to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other compliance requirements.
- Managing and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent position should possess the following
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Excellent knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore or similar.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team building abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
