- Review and evaluate civil and structural bids to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure all designs and constructions comply with relevant building codes.
- Apply principles of structural dynamics to design safe and durable structures.
- Develop detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Perform structural calculations to ensure designs meet required specifications.
- Design structures to withstand seismic events, considering factors such as building materials, location, and intended use.
- Prepare comprehensive studies, reports, designs, specifications, bills of material, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working/construction drawings.
- Design steel structures, ensuring they meet all required safety and durability standards.
- Oversee concrete construction, ensuring it meets all required specifications and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as a Structural Engineer.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
- Strong understanding of structural dynamics and seismic design.
- Experience in preparing detailed studies, reports, designs, specifications, bills of material, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working/construction drawings.
- Experience in steel design and concrete construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
