We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Set Up - Heading Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will work closely with our production team to ensure efficient and accurate production of our high-quality products. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have a passion for technical work and enjoy the challenges and rewards that come with working in the fast-paced manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a skilled machinist with a strong background in cold heading operations.

Responsibilities
As a Permanent Set Up - Heading Operator, your day-to-day duties will include
- Setting up and operating cold heading machines to manufacture high-quality products.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the product requirements.
- Performing routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshooting any issues with the machinery or the manufacturing process.
- Collaborating with the production team to improve manufacturing processes and enhance efficiency.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Documenting and reporting any issues or irregularities observed during the manufacturing process.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a cold heading machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical plans.
- Strong knowledge of cold heading operations and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
