We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to bring their expertise and knowledge to a forward-thinking company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, general ledger, and account reconciliation with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, general ledger, and account reconciliation with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Complete the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to provide senior management with definitive financial data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives.
- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close process.
- Coordinate with tax advisors to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
- Research and analyze financial reports and market trends.
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a accounting.
- Proven experience with financial analysis, general ledger, and account reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven track record of working to tight deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
