Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the integration of financial systems post-merger. This position requires strong technical accounting skills, familiarity with both NetSuite and SAP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Support the integration of financial systems post-merger, particularly within NetSuite and SAP.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Assist with consolidating financial data across merged entities.
Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and system integrations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Experience With NetSuite And SAP Required.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Proven experience managing accounting functions during periods of rapid growth or merger integration.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
