Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely operate a grinder or air dynafile (≈3 lbs) while standing or sitting as needed
- Safely operate a forklift and pass forklift training
- Use micrometers to measure finish quality
- Sandblast thin sheet metals without causing warpage
- Adhere to all facility safety policies and proper PPE usage
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform overhead reaching
- Wear blasting hood (≈4 lbs) and full protective suit for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of sandblasting experience
- Strong experience with grinding or air dynafile tools
- Ability to safely operate forklifts (or willingness to pass training)
- Ability to read and use micrometers for finish measurement
- Must pass manufacturing and math skills assessment
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work overhead, and wear heavy protective PPE
- Experience with thin metal handling preferred
