Summary
We’re looking for a Regional Assistant Controller to help manage financial operations for multiple business units across the U.S. and Canada. This role supports the Regional Controller by overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and team leadership. You’ll work closely with both regional and global teams, providing key insights to guide financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial operations for assigned business units in the U.S. and Canada.
Ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Prepare and present financial reports to regional and global leadership.
Supervise and develop accounting teams at multiple sites.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal policies.
Recommend process improvements and support strategic decisions.
Manage internal controls and assist with external audits.
Handle other tasks as assigned by finance leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting—preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
CPA strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of GAAP and cost accounting.
ERP system experience required (experience with SYSPRO is a plus).
Proven leadership experience with remote and onsite teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8 00 AM – 5 00 PM
