Responsibilities:
- Lead, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable quality standards.
- Develop quality objectives, KPIs, and reporting metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and root cause investigations.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead customer quality communications and support resolution of quality concerns.
- Manage supplier quality performance and collaborate on supplier improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor quality personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Ensure documentation, procedures, and records are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- 3 years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with machined parts.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 and audit processes.
- Experience leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulated or highly demanding manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQM/OE, or related credentials.
- Experience with customer-facing quality activities.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training or certification.
