Salary $85,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Survey Project Manager to lead and oversee land surveying projects from initiation through completion. This role involves managing field crews, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality survey data on time and within budget.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple survey projects simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review survey proposals, contracts, and deliverables.
• Oversee field operations and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Interpret construction plans, legal documents, and technical drawings.
• Utilize survey software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center) to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Mentor and support field crews and junior staff.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred or in progress.
• 5 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
• Proficiency in survey instruments and software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing project needs.
