Job Details
- 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management, estimating, or a combination of both
- Strong experience with heavy civil projects including roadway, bridge, underground utilities, earthwork, grading, paving, concrete, or site development
- Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining schedule and budget goals
- Experience preparing conceptual estimates, competitive bids, quantity takeoffs, and cost analyses for heavy civil projects
- Strong understanding of DOT, municipal, and public infrastructure construction standards and specifications
- Ability to review civil drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontractor proposals
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, project schedules, and field coordination activities
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations, construction sequencing, and civil construction means and methods
- Strong financial management skills including forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management
- Proficiency with construction management and estimating software platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Commitment to jobsite safety, quality control, and client satisfaction
