Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include
- Coordinating and managing all stages of fiber optic construction projects from conception to completion.
- Working closely with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Tracking project performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion of project goals and objectives.
- Ensuring all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Communicating project progress to all stakeholders, including project team members, senior management, and clients.
- Identifying potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans, and managing project changes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
The ideal candidate for the Project Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry.
- Proven experience with Outside Plant (OSP) and fiber optic technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Superior organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
