Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of HVAC projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
- Create and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Track project performance and make necessary corrections to ensure successful completion.
- Ensure that all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in HVAC projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC, piping, or plumbing projects.
- Proven track record of successfully coordinating HVAC projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
