Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on powder coating experience, preferably in a metal fabrication environment.
- Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, masking, and curing processes.
- Familiarity with safety standards, chemical handling, and powder coating equipment maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Lead daily powder coating operations, including preparation, masking, application, and curing of metal parts.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of coating technicians, providing guidance on process improvements and safety.
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and ovens.
- Coordinate workflow with production and fabrication teams to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, chemical handling, and environmental regulations.
