About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probate and Trust Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys in estate planning, probate administration, and trust matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file probate court documents, including petitions, inventories, and accountings
- Assist with trust administration, including asset collection, valuation, and distribution
- Draft correspondence, legal documents, and summaries for attorney review
- Maintain and organize case files and client records
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and court personnel
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements and timelines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in probate and trust administration
- Strong knowledge of probate procedures and estate planning terminology
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program
- Experience with Florida probate laws
