Our company is seeking a Permanent Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for
- Operating and maintaining fabrication machines such as Trumpf, punch press, and press brakes.
- Creating precision sheet metal parts and assemblies using a variety of materials.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Performing quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet company standards and client specifications.
- Collaborating with the design and production teams to troubleshoot any issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Assisting with inventory management and control.
- Providing training and guidance to junior team members as needed.
To be considered for the Permanent Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator position, candidates must possess
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining fabrication machines such as Trumpf, punch press, and press brakes.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- The ability to lift and move heavy objects and to stand for extended periods of time.
