Are you a seasoned Personal Injury Trial Attorney looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are in search of a dedicated, experienced, and highly skilled attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, with extensive courtroom and mediation experience. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled legal professionals.
Responsibilities:
As a Personal Injury Trial Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to support the client in civil litigation and arguing on their behalf.
2. Leading all aspects of personal injury litigation, including interviewing clients and witnesses, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and negotiating settlements.
3. Evaluating insurance coverage and advising clients on their rights and obligations.
4. Participating in mediation and settlement conferences and negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
5. Preparing and delivering opening and closing arguments and examining and cross-examining witnesses in trials.
6. Maintaining client relationships and providing them with competent, professional, and timely legal advice and services.
7. Staying updated on current laws and regulations related to personal injury and insurance coverage.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in the state.
3. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Personal Injury Trial Attorney.
4. Proven experience in the courtroom, presenting cases before a judge or jury.
5. Experience in mediation and negotiation, with a track record of successful settlements.
6. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage and the ability to advise clients on their rights and obligations.
7. Exceptional legal research skills and the ability to draft legal documents accurately and efficiently.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
