Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and create molds for new parts using CAD software such as UG, Solidworks, Mastercam, etc.
- Perform mold repair and maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of production parts.
- Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot issues and improve the functionality of molds.
- Apply your knowledge of injection molding to optimize the production process.
- Participate in the testing and validation of new molds, making adjustments as necessary to meet design specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex molding challenges.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mold making, tool building, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including UG, Solidworks, Mastercam, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of injection molding processes and plastic materials.
- Experience in manufacturing and production parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle precise and detailed work.
