Job Details
What You’ll Do
- Lead Inventory Strategy – Balance stock levels to meet production demand while minimizing waste and excess.
- Own Supplier Partnerships – Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure the materials needed to keep operations running at top speed.
- Drive Logistics & Distribution – Oversee transportation, warehousing, and scheduling to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Champion Quality – Partner with QA to ensure all incoming materials meet automotive standards and specifications.
- Innovate & Improve – Lead continuous improvement initiatives with Lean, automation, and new technology to streamline operations.
- Manage Budgets – Forecast, control costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Lead a High-Impact Team – Mentor and develop a team of planners, buyers, and warehouse staff, building a culture of collaboration and growth.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety – Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards while minimizing supply chain risks.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years in materials, supply chain, or procurement roles within manufacturing
- 1–2 years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles (procurement, logistics, inventory management)
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management tools, and MS Excel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
