Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems such as gearboxes, bearings, shafts, belts, and pneumatic components.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including mixers, extruders, conveyors, pumps, and material handling systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and rebuilds.
- Maintain and improve PM schedules and maintenance documentation.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify and implement solutions to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment such as mixers, extruders, conveyors, pumps, and material handling systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- A relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
