Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime
- Maintain and repair electric drive systems, including VFDs and servo systems
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance of automation and controls equipment
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to resolve equipment and process issues
- Assist with installation, start‑up, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience working with 480V electrical systems, VFDs, and servo drives
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of electric drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and automation equipment
- Familiarity with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, automation, and controls preferred
- PLC experience is not required but is a major plus
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and drawings
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade degree preferred
