We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with exceptional skills in trial preparation, legal writing, drafting pleadings, and legal research. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. Responsibilities
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be expected to
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Coordinate and manage trial logistics, including the preparation of trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Review, organize, and summarize case materials and prepare legal memorandums.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop legal strategies and prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
- Maintain and update case files, dockets, and calendars.
- Liaise with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
To be considered for this position, you must have
- Experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in trial preparation, legal writing, drafting pleadings, and conducting legal research.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work product.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
