We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Legal Secretary to support attorneys in a fast-paced civil litigation environment.
This role is primarily remote, but candidates must be located within driving distance of North County San Diego to support potential in-office needs (such as trial preparation), even though this is infrequent.

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Legal Secretary to support attorneys in a fast-paced civil litigation environment.
This role is primarily remote, but candidates must be located within driving distance of North County San Diego to support potential in-office needs (such as trial preparation), even though this is infrequent.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and trial materials
- E-file and serve documents in California state and federal courts
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case tracking
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and litigation events
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court rules
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, and staff
- Minimum 2 years of current civil litigation legal secretary experience
- Strong experience supporting insurance defense litigation
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
- Proficiency with California state and federal e-filing systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Must be located within driving distance of North County San Diego
- $70-83K (DOE)
