Job Details
✅ Key Responsibilities
📌 Receive, apply, and record client payments with accuracy and timeliness
📌 Maintain legal AR records, review aging reports, and follow established collection protocols
📌 Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account variances in coordination with attorneys and internal teams
📌 Communicate professionally with clients regarding account balances and billing inquiries (phone, email, and written correspondence)
📌 Partner internally to improve billing, collections, and documentation processes
📌 Maintain organized, accurate documentation and correspondence files
📌 Balance multiple priorities while consistently meeting tight deadlines
🎯 Qualifications & Experience
✔️ Prior experience in Legal Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections
✔️ Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and legal billing/timekeeping systems
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high‑touch, client‑service mindset
✔️ Highly organized, detail‑driven, and capable of working independently
✔️ Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
✔️ Degree preferred but not required
