Job Details
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
Working knowledge of MIG and TIG welding and general metal fabrication
Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in Lean environments
Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Lead safety initiatives, conduct meetings, and document incidents
Support quality goals through corrective actions and process adherence
Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, and delivery goals
Track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and improve workflow efficiency
Reduce waste and improve productivity through Lean principles and process improvements
Drive cost reduction initiatives and support cross‑functional improvement projects
Process & Equipment Support
Develop and update standard operating procedures
Support change management and operational improvement initiatives
Coordinate with maintenance to plan equipment downtime while minimizing production impact
People Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing teams through day‑to‑day leadership
Manage staffing needs including hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning
Conduct performance reviews, address performance issues, and support employee development
Promote training, cross‑training, and skill development to build a flexible workforce
