We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Inspection & Assembly Technician to support precision work within an engineering lab environment. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience performing sustained microscope‑based inspection and assembly, following exact work instructions, and supporting engineering teams in controlled, low‑volume or prototype settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform prolonged microscope‑based inspection and precision assembly of small, delicate electronic components
- Execute detailed work instructions, calibration steps, and process workflows exactly as written
- Support engineering teams with lab builds, evaluations, and controlled testing activities
- Perform precision tasks such as epoxy dispensing, fine alignment, component verification, and visual inspection
- Accurately document results, observations, and process outcomes
- Communicate findings clearly to engineering and operations partners
- Maintain a clean, organized lab workspace and adhere to ESD and safety requirements
- Extensive hands‑on experience performing sustained microscope work with high precision and consistency
- Strong ability to follow step‑by‑step instructions without deviation
- Experience working in an engineering lab or controlled lab environment
- Comfort participating in hands‑on lab assessments focused on precision, accuracy, and instruction following
- High attention to detail, patience, and strong fine motor skills
- IPC‑A‑610 certification
- Background in PCBA inspection, optics, AI hardware, or advanced electronics
- Experience supporting engineers during prototype builds or early product development
- Familiar with documentation standards in regulated or highly controlled environments
- Engineering lab or controlled lab setting
- Precision bench work with microscopes and specialized equipment
- Lower‑volume, high‑accuracy focus rather than high‑volume production
