Our fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks as assigned.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Fabricate and modify parts as required to repair or enhance machinery.
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment, test new machinery before use, and plan future maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout-tagout.
- Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management about ongoing repairs and maintenance, ensuring clear understanding of timelines and potential impact on production.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in welding, machine repair, and blueprint reading.
- Experience with conveyor systems and fabrication.
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
- Must be available for potential after-hours emergencies or during peak production periods.
- Certification in industrial maintenance or related field is a plus.
