Industrial Maintenance Technician
Meherrin River Forest Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair sawmill equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance.
- Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Replace bearings, chains, cylinders, motors, drives, and other parts.
- Assist with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment installation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work outdoors, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting of more than 50 pounds.
- Dependable and safety-focused.
