Job Details

Our law firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Attorney with a focus on Employment Litigation. This is a hybrid position that offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with our team of seasoned attorneys and provide legal counsel to our diverse client base.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and respond to initial pleadings, discovery requests, and motions with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Present arguments and defend depositions in court.
• Provide expert advice on labor and employment law matters to our clients.
• Defend class action lawsuits and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and develop innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in employment law.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
  

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
• Proven experience in drafting, responding to initial pleadings, arguing motions, and defending depositions.
• Solid experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience in class action defense and PAGA matters.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.
